Tim improving our pastures

. . . Ranch work is rigorous and demanding. To be a successful foreman, not only must you have a vast knowledge of the beings in your care, you must also have a deep understanding of the land, machinery and working with people in a team. Tim fulfills all those requirements. TMR Rescue is grateful for this hardworking ex-marine.

. . . We were asked to come to the aid of a herd of donkeys in North Florida, at risk of going to slaughter or ending up in abusive situations like donkey roping. Tim was critical to that rescue as he shared his expertise and can do spirit to capture them on the 100 acres where they roamed and then get them loaded for their trip to quarantine near our ranch in TX.

. . . We are finding that we are a great choice for Boy Scouts to earn their Eagle Scout award. This meritorious recognition is bestowed on scouts who demonstrate leadership skills to complete a project of their design for charity.

"Get 'er done!"

Our Foreman

Tim Windmiller

There is not much that Tim cannot do to improve the land.  He likes to joke and say that he's been playing in dirt and picking up sticks most of his life.  What he leaves out is that he picks up sticks and plays in dirt with really large equipment.  If it's broken, we call Tim. If we need a building moved, we call Tim, and if a tree is on a fence, we call Tim.  From his former life as a Marine to living life on the land, he has always made giving the job his all a matter of pride and personal responsibility.
