Casey is a two year old jenny that was rescued by TMR Rescue as a member of a herd of 41 neglected donkeys in Florida when she was just three months old.  Casey has a very rare equine disorder called Wabblers, and is the first known donkey to be diagnosed with this condition.  Because of her young age, Casey is an ideal candidate for a surgical procedure to correct her problem.  This surgery has never before been performed on a donkey!  Come with us on this journey as we provide updates, photos, and videos about Casey and her groundreaking medical treatment.
